One of my favorite coffeeshops is Flying Saucers. Ryan Morris, the owner, graciously invited me to play my song Flying Saucer at the most recent art opening, an exhibition of UFO inspired pieces by Sean Day.
Flying Saucer hasn’t landed on a recording yet but it’s been circling the cosmos for a while, dating back to shows with Velvet in the 90′s. It was a mini reunion as Velvet bassist Mark Prudeaux joined my on vocals.
