Trasherella – follow the red carpet
Last night was the red carpet screening of Rena Riffel’s Trasherella. Rena wrote, directed, starred and edited. Not bad for a blond bombshell!! We co wrote 3 of the songs in it – Perfectly Imperfect and Beauty Is Pain – which Rena performs wonderfully onscreen. That’s me dawdling my way through the photo shoot 🙂

On The Bandstand
Occasionally I can be found thumping the bass for the wonderfull theater troupe Brain Brew Entertainment. These pics are from Sunday morning at Universal Studios in California.
We had a 6:30am call time. That’s early for Blasick time. Rehearsal went straight up until showtime at 10:30. Lots o’ standing.
Don’t Stop Rockin’
Usually there’s too much for me to listen to. People give me stuff. There’s work stuff. But this week I’ve been searching for something to listen to just for me. Did some hunting. Thought about my longtime faves Linsey Buckingham, Heather Nova and Juliana Hatfield. Man, their new stuff is sleepy. Lindsey is the only only with any up tempo stuff. We’re getting older. I get it. But, please mix it up. Especially you ladies. Medium tempo hypnosis fest.
